Jamestown was a okay place I guess. They had some rough times in the beginning.  The water got people sick. Pocahontas helped John Smith. The colonists grew tobacco and they sold to England. Africans came to Jamestown and most were slaves. Women were not there in the beginning, but in 1619 women came to Jamestown. The king of England made Jamestown his in 1624.
